Josef Malonzo is a talented and dynamic actor whose training includes an undergraduate degree at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and TV. Other training includes: LAMDA in London, UK, Second City Toronto, and ongoing classes with Studio Six, Los Angeles' first Clown school. Over the past year, he has worked on various tv and film sets. With commericals, he booked a principal role with Magnolia Ice Cream, (The Phillippines leading Ice Cream distributor), shot at locations in Hollywood and Muscle Beach in Venice, CA. For the stage, Josef's most recent work was a memorable role as Army Gorilla in Monkey Madness, a comedic, and physically-demanding play directed by Cirque Du Soleil clown Daisuke Tsuji for the Los Angeles Theatre Ensemble. Monkey Madness was graced with six nominations at the 31st Annual LA WEEKLY Awards, inlcuding best comedy ensemble.
Josef is currently on location in Toronto, Canada playing the twisted role of 'Ben' for the upcoming feature film thriller 'Kenneyville', produced and directed by rising Canadian film director/producer Brooks Hunter for Robanzo Pictures.
